JG Percussion Michael Oberaigner MO7 “Schwammschlägel” Mallets

Re-created from 1849, these “Sponge-headed” mallets were originally designed by Felix Mendelssohn’s timpanist, Ernst Pfunt. A small composite core, covered with a layer of sponge then wrapped with liner felt. A truly unique sound.
