Since being founded in 1968, Kolberg has pursued the goal of shaping the world of music as a leader in innovation for orchestral equipment and percussion nstruments. Founder Bernhard Kolberg's career is symbolic of the unique expertise that the world's most important soloists and orchestras have relied on for over 50 years. 

What began as a one-man tinkerer's garage has grown into a business with over 6,000 square metres of production space and more than 1,000 square metres of exhibition space. Kolberg Percussion currently employs 30 people in its own manufactory in Germany.
