Cette caisse claire répond exactement à mes attentes : elle a un bon punch (comme toutes les caisses claires en métal, d’ailleurs), mais un son sec. Je ne suis pas vraiment fan des caisses claires en métal, mais l’aluminium m’intéresse depuis longtemps. Et je peux dire que j’en suis vraiment satisfait. J’ai toutefois remplacé la peau de frappe d’origine par une Evans Dry. Mais c’est bien sûr une question de goût.

The snare does exactly what I expected: it has a nice punch (like pretty much any metal snare), but it sounds dry. I’m not really a fan of metal snares, but I’ve been interested in aluminum ones for a long time. And I can say that I’m really satisfied. That said, I did replace the factory-installed batter head with an Evans Dry. But of course, that’s a matter of personal taste.
