Our professional Spanish castanets are mounted on a fine maple wood base. The exclusive "free suspended" mount decouples the sound of the instrument from the stand and thus prevents unwanted vibrations and background noise. Alternatively, you can place the instrument directly on a shelf - a felt layer on the underside ensures an optimal acoustic experience.
