The thin washer is made to fit on any cymbal stand and may be placed underneath or on top your cymbals felts (or use without felts). This simple design allows you to grab the Cymbal Bacon and place on any cymbal throughout your performance with no hassle. Perfect way to have the sound of rivets without having to drill a hole in your cymbal. Of the rivet chain options, I find this one sounds closest to actual rivets.
