The DWSM379 is a standard hi-hat clutch by Drum Workshop (DW). This component comes as standard on all DW hi-hat stands, fitting a 7mm rod. It allows drummers to adjust the closed "sloshyness" and secure it, preventing it from accidentally shifting during performances. As it sees use in DW's own 5000 and 9000 series hi-hat stands, it's reliable and fits many other setups as well.

I love the locking mechanism. I never have to worry about a clutch loosening, or coming apart in the middle of a song. Great product from DW.
