I've purchased and tried almost every quick set hi hat clutch on the market, and this new clutch from Yamaha is the best I've ever owned. A simple twist and lock and you're ready to play or remove your hi hat cymbal in a split second. The belts on this clutch are top notch, with a much harder and solid felt design, yet just soft enough to let your hi hat cymbals resonate, with a great "chick" sound. The top cymbal never gets loose or wobbly unless you loosen it to your preference with amazing looking blue cymbal lock screws. Great looking, no nonsoverengineered and performing hi hat clutch
