Tonkin shaft with convex felt core and extra hard felt cloth cover. Great staccato mallet. Also known as “Freer greens” these have now found their way into hundreds of timpani players cases and have become a standard for nearly 1000 customers.

An extreme version of a Cloyd Duff #2 on Tonkin shafts, the hard-felt core and covering of the Freer TT2H make it a great rhythm stick for Beethoven 1 Scherzo, Bartok Music for Strings Percussion and Celeste, Stravinsky, or any other music where you want an articulate and clean sound.
