NAMM 2026 Day 1

First day at NAMM is done! It was a day full of meetings with manufacturers and distributors and plenty of stuff to see.

The first stop was before the show even started when we visited the Aquarian headquarters, which is a 10 minute drive from the convention center.

In the convention hall we had several meetings. Yamaha showed us the new EAD50 which is a major step up from the EAD10

They also had the very limited edition Roy Haynes snare drum (limited to 100 worldwide!) We should be able to get one in the shop!

New colours were announced for the Recording Custom series which now will be available in some of the colours from the Absolute Hybrid Maple line : Red Autumn, Polar White and Silver Sparkle

The Roland/DW booth was busy all day. The new Slingerland snare drums were displayed with 2 new finishes. The Roland booth had the new kits that were announced in the fall and DW was showing a massive kit that Chad Smith uses with RHCP.

Gibson had a fun Game of Thrones like display
