„My "Estay" concert drumsticks are the perfect companion for students and rehearsal players - as well as the best sound tool for professional orchestral percussionists. The unique weight of rosewood and the special length of the sticks create a wide amplitude force, which enables an extremely rich sound in fortissimo passages without effort. The round head produces wonderful colours - even for the quietest passages with very good playing control. As a result, the sticks master the sound profile of an Arhus etude perfectly, provide clear, concise articulation in works by Shostakovich and Prokofiev and are extremely sensitive in delicate pianissimo orchestral passages by Ravel and Debussy. The Kolberg company manufactures the sticks with the highest precision and quality and uses exquisite tonewood. This combination of the best and aesthetically pleasing Honduras Rosewood and the clear, articulated sound spectrum is a pure source of inspiration for me. These sticks are a dream that has finally come true thanks to the collaboration with Kolberg!

Quality characteristics

We examine all drum sticks carefully and match them according to three criteria:

  • same weight (+/- 1 g)
  • matching grain and colour
  • homogenous sound due to the same sound frequency

Please remember: Wood is a natural product! Slight differences in weight, shape or colour can occur.
Especially with Rosewood drumsticks, the natural frequency can vary within a stick.
