Bars
The Kolberg xylophone bars are optionally made of first-class Honduras Rosewood or glass fibre reinforced plastic. All bars are 40 mm wide.The fixing pins of the bars are rubber coated and mounted below the beating surface, so that you can't hit them by accident.
Tension Cords
High-quality special braided nylon cords do not cause any annoying vibration side noise and are very hard wearing.

Frame and Bridges
Frame and bridges are made of solid common beech, bottom board made of multiply glued laminated beech. The enlarged frame serves as slide protection for the bars in case of an impact on the sides.
Colour: common beech natural or black matt finish
Transport
The instrument can be folded in the middle after dismounting the resonators. The transport size is then only 130 x 31 x 18 cm. The bars are inside and thus protected.
